Terms & Conditions

This CYCLE THRU GOA event (“Event”) is organized and managed by BluSports Media LLP, a limited liability partnership incorporated under the provisions of Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, having its registered office at Flat No 3, Panchavati Baldg Adgarsh Nager, Near Vidhya Mandir School, Mormugao, Chicalim, South Goa, Goa – 403711 (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer” or “We”).

  • AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

By registering for the Event on platform www.Cyclethru.in, Participant (the “Participant”/“User”/“You”/“Your”) accepts and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and Organizer’s decision, which are fully and unconditionally binding in all respects. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any Participant’s entry at any time at the Organizer’s sole discretion.

By registering for the event, the Participant represents and warrants to be eligible to participate based on the eligibility requirements mentioned in these Terms.

  • EVENT DESCRIPTION

Event is a ‘Timed Road Cycling Race Event’ on 15th February 2026 across three distance categories 14 km, 28 km, and 56 km. These races are open to eligible male and female participants, subject to the Terms. The races will be conducted on the designated Chicalim Mobor Beach route.

All participants must complete the Event registration strictly within the registration period which shall commence from 30th January 2026 at 4:00 pm and shall remain open till 10 February 2026 at 1:59 pm (“Registration Period”). Registrations submitted after the expiry of the Registration Period shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to (a) open early registration, (b) extend or shorten the Registration Period, or (c) close registrations at any time without assigning any reason.

  • WINNER SELECTION

Subject to the Terms, Winners in the Individual Race categories shall be determined solely on the basis of the fastest official finish time recorded by the Organizer’s timing system for each distance and gender category. In addition to the Terms, the following conditions apply:

  1. Only times recorded by the official timing system will be considered; personal devices or third‑party apps are not accepted.
  2. Participants must complete the full race distance (14 km, 28 km, or 56 km) on the designated route, follow route markings, comply with timing protocols, and adhere to all safety instructions issued by the Organizer and abide by these Terms Any deviation, shortcut, or failure to pass through mandatory checkpoints may result in disqualification.
  3. Only permitted bicycles and safety gear to be used.
  4. All results are provisional until verified by the Organizer
  5. The Organizer’s decision regarding verification of Participant, winners, rankings and disqualification shall be final, binding, and not subject to challenge.
  • PRIZE & PRIZE DISBURSEMENT POLICY

Prize: Individual Race categories (14 km and 32 km) will receive the following prize money distributed across distances and categories as announced by the Organizer:

The Organizer may revise the prize distribution at its discretion prior to the Event.

Prize Disbursement Policy: All prize money awarded under CycleThru Goa 2026 shall be disbursed strictly in accordance with the following:

  1. Prize disbursement will be initiated only after the Organizer completes the identification verification, eligibility verification, which shall be conducted by the Organizer within 15 working days from the date the Winner submits all required documents
  2. Winner shall submit bank details and the requisite documentation for mandatory tax compliances by the Organizer;
  3. Prize money is subject to statutory deductions and any other taxes, levies, or statutory charges applicable to Prize money shall be borne solely by the Winner.
  4. Prize money cannot be transferred to third parties, relatives, or corporate accounts.
  5. Organizer shall not be liable for delays arising due to incomplete or incorrect documentation, banking issues, statutory compliance requirements, disputes requiring additional reviews.
  6. Prize money will be transferred within 30 working days after successful completion of verification.
  7. The Prize Money may be forfeited by the Organizer for the following reasons:
  8. Failure of the Winner to submit the requisite documents by the Winner;
  9. Verification reveals non-compliance, misrepresentation, or rule violations or breach of the Terms.
  10. Winner is unreachable, or unresponsive despite reasonable attempts by the Organizer.
  11. Winner refuses to comply with tax or banking requirements.

The Organizer may at its sole discretion reallocate or cancel the forfeited prize at its discretion.

All decisions regarding Prize eligibility, verification, deductions, timelines, and disbursement shall be final, binding, and not subject to challenge, review, or appeal.

  • ELIGIBILITY
  • To participate to the Event:
  • You must be citizen of India
  • You must be 18 (Eighteen) Years of age or above;
  • Signup and register on www.Cyclethru.in
  • Participants must have a bicycle in order to be eligible to participate in the Event. Only individuals equipped with a functional bicycle will be permitted to join the activities.

Only the Entries submitted during the Registration Period shall be considered as eligible entries for participation to the Event.

Participants below age of 18 years (“Minor”), can participate with their Parent’s/Legal Guardian consent. By registering on behalf of the Minor, the Parent or Legal Guardian confirms their status as Parent or Legal Guardian and further confirm that the minor participates solely with your informed consent and under your full responsibility.

All terms, conditions, rules, waivers, and obligations applicable to Participants shall apply to the Minor.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from inaccurate or false representations regarding your authority to act on behalf of the minor. We reserve the right, at any time, to request documentation or conduct additional verification to confirm your legal authority to provide consent for the Minor.]

  • Organizer reserve the right to exclude any person from participation to the Event on ground of misconduct, criminal records or registration in breach of these Terms.
  • You must provide accurate and up‑to‑date information. You are solely responsible for securing your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach. We may suspend or terminate your account if your information is inaccurate or your account is compromised.
  • RETURN OF ENTRIES COMMUNICATION & BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Your registration will be deemed complete only upon successful payment of all applicable fees (if any).

Upon successful completion of registration, a confirmation message containing the details of your entry and the Event will be sent to you via email and SMS using the contact information provided at the time of registration. Delivery of the confirmation email and SMS shall constitute valid acknowledgment of receipt of your entry. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are accurate and active to receive such communications.

We are not responsible for any delay, non‑delivery, or failure to receive the confirmation due to network issues, service interruptions, incorrect or inactive contact details, spam filters, device settings, or any other circumstances beyond our control. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information is accurate and that your email and mobile services are functioning properly.

  • PAYMENT CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
  • Payment Terms:

The Event fees is determined solely by the Organizer. Additional platform or service fees may be included in or added to the Event price, as applicable.

All payments are collected by the Organizer through the payment methods made available on the platform. Payments may be processed through third‑party payment gateways or service providers (“Payment Processors”). While the Organizer selects and integrates such Payment Processors, the Organizer does not control and is not responsible for their technical performance, security, or availability.

Upon successful registration and payment, a confirmation email and SMS will be sent to the contact details provided by the Participant at the time of registration. If a Participant does not receive a confirmation, they must contact the Organizer directly using the details provided on the Event page. Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of any right to raise a dispute on the basis of non‑receipt of confirmation.

  • Refund Terms (Strictly No-Refund Policy)

All confirmed registrations are strictly non‑refundable, non‑transferable, and non‑modifiable unless expressly permitted by the Organizer under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

  1. personal scheduling conflicts;
  2. travel issues;
  3. illness or injury;
  4. failure to meet eligibility or fitness requirements;
  5. non‑attendance for any reason;
  6. dissatisfaction with Event arrangements;
  7. errors in registration details submitted by the Participant.

Participants acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued once payment is successfully processed, except where required by applicable laws.

The Organizer shall not be responsible for:

  1. delays or failures in refund processing caused by Payment Processors;
  2. bank charges, gateway fees, or deductions applied by third‑party service providers;
  3. chargebacks initiated by Participants; or
  4. any loss arising from Participant errors, including incorrect contact or payment details.

No refunds will be issued if a Participant fails to attend the Event, arrives late, or chooses not to participate for personal reasons.

Where refunds are expressly permitted, they will be processed only to the original mode of payment, subject to applicable deductions.

  • Cancellation and Event Change Terms

By the Participant: Participant‑initiated cancellations are not permitted under any circumstances, unless expressly stated by the Organizer.  

By the Organizer: If the Event is cancelled, postponed, suspended, or materially altered for any reason including force majeure, adverse weather, safety concerns, operational issues, or governmental restrictions the Organizer shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect losses arising from such changes.

The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, offer rescheduling, deferral, or credit options, however,no refunds will be issued, except where required by applicable laws.

Participants are responsible for checking Event updates, including cancellations or rescheduling. The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to notify Participants through email, SMS, or the Event website, but does not guarantee timely delivery of such notifications.

If a registration is rejected by the Organizer for any reason, any amount collected will be refunded (excluding bank or gateway charges), unless otherwise specified.

Where Participants deferrals are permitted by the Organizer, any applicable adjustments will be processed only after the transferee completes the transfer process and payment, in accordance with the Organizer’s terms.

  • PARTICIPANT OBLIGATIONS

Participants acknowledge and agree to comply with the following obligations as a condition of registration and participation in the Event:

  1. Accurate Information: Participant must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated at all times. This includes personal details, emergency contact information, medical disclosures (where required), and any other information requested by the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to reject or cancel any registration based on incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information.
  2. Physical and Medical Fitness: Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit to participate in the Event. By registering, Participants confirm that they have no medical condition, disability, illness, or injury that would make participation unsafe or inadvisable to participate. Participants are encouraged to undergo a medical check‑up prior to the Event and obtain a medical clearance if required. The Organizer may, at its discretion, disallow participation if a Participant appears unfit or poses a safety risk.
  3. Compliance With Event Rules and Instructions: Participants must comply with all Event rules, regulations, instructions, and safety guidelines issued by the Organizer, Event staff, volunteers, medical teams, traffic authorities, and law‑enforcement personnel. This includes adherence to route markings, time limits, start and finish procedures, and any on‑ground directions provided during the Event. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event without refund.
  4. Equipment and Safety Gear: Participants are required to have a fully functional bicycle in order to participate in the Event. Participants may either (a) bring and use their own bicycle, or (b) obtain a bicycle from the Organizer, subject strictly to the Organizer’s sole discretion, availability of inventory, and payment of an additional fee as prescribed by the Organizer. The Organizer does not guarantee availability of bicycles at any time.
  5. Wearing a BiB and a certified cycling helmet is mandatory for all Participants at all times during the Event. Participants are further advised to use additional protective gear, including but not limited to gloves, reflective clothing, lights, and any other safety accessories deemed necessary by the Participant for their own safety.
  6. The Organizer makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition, suitability, maintenance, safety, or performance of any bicycle or protective gear—whether provided by the Participant or obtained from the Organizer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer expressly disclaims all liability arising out of or in connection with any equipment failure, malfunction, inadequacy, or unavailability of bicycles or protective gear, and Participants assume all associated risks.
  7. Safe and Responsible Conduct: Participants must conduct themselves in a safe, responsible, and sportsmanlike manner throughout the Event. Participants shall not engage in any behavior that may endanger themselves, other participants, spectators, volunteers, or property. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
    1. reckless or aggressive riding;
    1. obstructing or interfering with other participants;
    1. ignoring traffic rules or safety instructions;
    1. consuming alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances before or during the Event;
    1. tampering with Event equipment, property, signage, or timing devices.
    1. Damaging the property including but not limited to bicycle, safety gears etc. as may be provided by the Organizer

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any Participant whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these obligations.

  • Traffic and Route Compliance: Participants must follow all applicable traffic laws and ride only on the designated Event route. Participants must remain alert to road conditions, vehicles, pedestrians, and other hazards. Any deviation from the designated route or violation of traffic rules may result in disqualification.
  • Personal Belongings and Equipment Security

Participants are responsible for the security of their personal belongings, and equipment. The Organizer does not provide storage facilities and is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to any personal property of the Participant.

  • Environmental and Community Responsibility: Participants must respect the environment, public spaces, and local communities along the Event route. Littering, damaging property, or causing public nuisance is strictly prohibited and the Participant shall be personally responsible for any loss caused.
  • Cooperation in Emergencies: Participants must cooperate fully with Event officials and emergency personnel in the event of an accident, medical emergency, or safety incident. Participants must immediately stop if instructed to do so and may be required to assist or provide information if involved in or witness to an incident.
  • Participant shall not:
    • Use any unauthorized support equipment/gadget
    • Tamper with timing devices or engage in cheating
    • Carry hazardous weapons or substances
    • Engage in harassment, abuse or misconduct towards the participants, staff or spectators.
    • receiving external pacing or accepting unauthorized support is prohibited.
    • attempt to manipulate timing, obstruct competitors, or gain unfair advantage may result in disqualification.
  1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & WAIVER

Assumption of risk: The Participant acknowledges that cycling races, marathons, involve significant, inherent, and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to collisions, falls, equipment failure, road hazards, dehydration, heat stroke, cardiac,, serious injury, permanent disability, or death. The Participant voluntarily and knowingly assumes full and exclusive responsibility for all such risks, whether caused by their own actions, the actions of others, environmental conditions, or any other factor.

Waiver: To the maximum extent permitted under applicable laws, the Participant fully and irrevocably releases, waives, and discharges the Organizer and all its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, medical partners, sponsors, and affiliates (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or connected with:

  • participation in the Event;
  • any injury, illness, accident, or death;
  • any loss or damage to personal property;
  • route conditions, weather, traffic, or actions of other participants.

The Participant agrees that the Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages under any circumstances.

  • LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

The Participant agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizer and the Released Parties from any claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  1. the Participant’s participation in the Event;
    1. any breach of these Terms;
    1. any false, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the Participant;
    1. any negligent, reckless, or unlawful conduct by the Participant;
    1. any injury or damage caused by the Participant to themselves, other participants, spectators, volunteers, or property;
    1. any claim brought by third parties, including family members or legal representatives.

This indemnity survives the completion of the Event and remains enforceable indefinitely.

  • MEDICAL CONSENT AND RELEASE

The Participant authorizes the Organizer and its medical partners to provide or arrange emergency medical treatment if required and agrees to bear all associated costs. The Participant releases the Organizer from any liability arising from the provision, non‑provision, or outcome of medical care.

  • RIGHT TO MODIFY THE EVENT TERMS

The Organizer may, at any time and at its sole discretion, modify, amend, or update any aspect of the Event, including the route, schedule, rules, categories, safety measures, or operational details. Any such changes take effect upon announcement on the official Event website or through Organizer communications. Participants are responsible for staying updated, and the Organizer is not liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from such modifications.

  • PRODUCT LIABILITY

The Organizer may distribute products, merchandise, consumables, or nutrition items, equipment including Bicycles (“Event Products”) during the Event. All Event Products are provided as is basis, and the Organizer makes no warranties regarding their quality, safety, suitability, or fitness for consumption or use.

Participants acknowledge that nutrition items may contain allergens or ingredients that may not be suitable for all individuals. Participants are solely responsible for reviewing labels, ingredients, and warnings before use or consumption. The Organizer is not liable for any allergic reactions, illnesses, injuries, or adverse effects arising from nutrition items.

Some Event Products may be supplied or branded by third‑party sponsors. The Organizer does not control or guarantee Sponsor‑supplied products and shall not be responsible for any defects, issues, or harm arising from their use. Any claims relating to such products must be directed to the respective manufacturer or sponsor.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participants release and indemnify the Organizer from any claims or losses arising from the use or consumption or use of any Event Products.

  • PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Participants consent to the use of their name, photographs, videos, race timings, and other participation data by the Organiser for Event administration, promotional activities, and media publication.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable Indian data‑protection laws.

The Organizer informs the Participant, that accepts, that it may outsource to third parties part of the services related to the management of the Event with the purpose to obtaining logistic and/or administrative support (for instance, companies that carry out the service of delivering the prizes, or companies rendering technological services like hosting of the Organizer’s Website or social media channels). All these companies are acting as processors or authorized recipients and can have access to and/or process the Participant’s personal data only as far as it is necessary to comply with the purposes of this Event.

The Organizer informs the Participant that he/she has right to request access to and rectification or erasure of his/her personal data, or restriction or objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability or to withdraw the consent by addressing to Organizer a written communication to the registered office address or to by sending an email to Connect@blusports.in

  • GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Goa.
